Keeping your Rimfire Barrel clean is essential to keep the best accuracy.  However, many barrels are ruined by rubbing the cleaning rod along the inside of the barrel.  Our boreguides are superior quality and will help ensure your cleaning rod remains in the center of the barrel and does not touch the barrel.  PQP Boreguides have 2 qualities that are different than your average boreguide.  1. We include an insert that fits your rod very close.  You will not be able to put a patch through the inside of the insert.  This helps to ensure your rod stays in the center of the barrel. 2. The boreguide stops at the loading ramp so that the breech of the barrel is visible, and you can watch the rod go down the barrel and ensure it does not contact the barrel.   We off 2 size of inserts that will fit your cleaning rod.  Small size is for .187″ diameter cleaning rod such as those produced by PQP.  The Large size will accommodate any commercially available 22 caliber cleaning rod such as Dewey, Hoppe, Pro-Shot, etc….
